Let us remind you that the 16^th Russian agro industrial exhibition «Golden autumn» this year will pass from 8 till 11 of October in Moscow at the territory of the Exhibition of the achievements of national economy.

In addition to the food and handicrafts sectors, the latest agricultural machinery and equipment for plant growing, animal breeding and poultry business will be presented at the «Golden autumn». One of the most popular sectors of the exhibition – «Livestock breeding». It demonstrates the most popular breeds of cattle and sheep breeding, poultry (chickens, geese, turkeys), fur-bearing animals (foxes, mink, hybrids breeds). During the exhibition on the special arena will be held demonstrations of best representatives of the breeds of cattle, as well as specialized workshops.

Deputy minister of the Agriculture Aleksander Petrikov, which welcomed the exhibition “White nights” on behalf of the ministry of the Agriculture of the Russian Federation, noted that the exhibition-competition in the field of dairy farming is not only regional importance event, but also has a large Federal meaning.

Aleksander Petrikov also noted that nowadays Ministry of Agriculture develops new revised version of the program of developing of the agriculture in Russia till the 2020, where dairy cattle will be highlighted in a special direction. The special program in the dairy cattle will be created in accordance to the existing program for beef cattle. The document provides new support measures to stimulate the investment process, to improve the marketability of milk, including small-scale sector. The main emphasis will be placed on the development of specialized large-scale commercial dairy farms and on breeding improving.

«This Autumn the Ministry of Agriculture will submit to the Russian Federation Government a new version of the Federal law on livestock breeding, amendments to which we have developed in close contact with your staff, and where given the experience of the Leningrad region. because the Leningrad region is the largest agricultural area, the leader of dairy cattle. In your area are the highest yields in Russia, which exceeded the figures in 7 thousand tons. Those are European indicators of world dairy cattle», – said Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation.

According to the results of the contest “White nights”, which was judged by the expert from the United States Rebecca Mast, a champion in the category “Animals of black-motley breed” became the cow named Shubka from the plant breeding “Rascvet” of Priozerks district. Vice-champion became the cow Nitka from the breeding factory “Detskoselskiy” of Tosnensky district.

The number One among Ayrshire breed cows became the last year Vice-champion – cow Kislitsa from the joint stock company “Zarechye” of Volkhov district. Second place was given to Klubnichka from agricultural enterprise “Voskhod” of Tosnenskiy district.

Champions of the “White nights” will take part in the Russian agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn-2014”, which will be held from 8 to 11 of October in Moscow, VDNH.

For the last several years “Golden Autumn” became an active platform for discussion of a number of topical issues in the sphere of youth policy. This year the theme of professional orientation of rural youth is in the center of attention of Forum participants.

Participants plan to consider experience of realization of educational process in rural agrarian primary, secondary special and higher educational institutions of Russia, as well as to examine forms of professional work in rural territories, and also to discuss possibilities of stimulation of youth to creative and research activity and involvement of young specialists in process of modernization of the agro-industrial complex of the country.

Representatives of public authorities, professors of agrarian higher education institutions and the rural educational organizations, experts and young scientific of agro industrial complex, leaders of agrarian public organizations, students of agrarian higher education institutions – activists of the Russian union of rural youth are invited to participate in the Forum to create multilateral and productive dialogue.

This year exhibitors will present unique modern installations on the subject “Live Culture”. Each region will create the spatial composition made of products, produced in the region. Kabardino-Balkaria plans to present the composition made from different sizes pumpkins which have been skillfully decorated, using the carving technique. The Bryansk region is going to surprise visitors with “the vegetable engine” weight 200 kilograms. The Saratov region is ready to compete with Bryansk residents, creating the huge basket weaved from sausage products”.

The participation of agrarian ministries of the countries of Europe, Asia and America is planned also.
